Happy Birthday Cecilia!

One year ago today, we shared the happiest day of our lives when Cecilia was born.

The year long sleepless journey has been our best adventure yet.

Cecilia has discovered flowers, and now spends a good portion of her day requesting we bring flowers to her so she can smell them.

Cecilia stays out past her bed time and devours a sausage or two at Olympic Provisions, a new Portland restaurant (Garen's brother is a co- owner of this great salumeria).

Cecilia likes hanging out with Garen, and cannot wait until he moves here next year....
Time to finish that dissertation and get out to Portland Garen!

These guests brought along a ton of surprises and were tons of fun!
Our first surprise came as soon as Betsy stepped over the threshold.

I guess we have been a bit preoccupied with our little life out here to notice what others are doing.....Congrats Kyle and Betsy!
