Elk Lake, Michigan (a.k.a. Midwest Mediterranean)

With waters this clear and warm, we often thought we were floating on the Mediterranean Sea.

Oma, Opa and Cecilia spent hours playing on this log.

Great Lakes

We spent many hours swimming in many lakes throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. However, the two Great Lakes we frolicked in were pretty memorable because of their grand size and surprisingly warm waters.

Madtown

We spent a couple weeks in the midwest this summer and caught up with some friends and family. Our first stop was Madison for a quick UW reunion.

Below is a picture of the "early arrival crew" who attended a pizza party at Jessica's. It looks almost as messy as a college party.
